The moment St. Augustine foodies have been waiting for is finally here!
After nearly two decades in their original spot, The Purple Olive is opening the doors to a brand-new home at 828 Anastasia Boulevard — and it officially opens Friday, October 24th at 4 PM.

This move marks an exciting new chapter for one of St. Augustine’s most loved local restaurants. Chef Peter Kenney and his team have built a loyal following over the years, known for their creative coastal flavors, warm hospitality, and a menu that perfectly captures the spirit of our seaside community.

Now, that same charm and flavor come with a major upgrade — a larger dining area, a full-service bar, and a refreshed, island-chic atmosphere that feels right at home on Anastasia Island.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week at 4 PM, giving locals and visitors alike plenty of time to experience the new space. Reservations are already being accepted at purple-olive.com.

As someone who loves highlighting the best of Northeast Florida living, I can’t help but see this as more than a restaurant move — it’s another sign of St. Augustine’s vibrant growth. From our dining scene to our neighborhoods, this area continues to evolve while keeping its coastal charm intact.

Whether you’re planning a special dinner, a casual date night, or just want to see what all the buzz is about, The Purple Olive’s new home deserves a spot on your weekend plans.
